Project:Development of anti sliding coating fabrics for medical rehabilitation materials
Customer demand:Domestic medical device factory, products exported to North America medical rehabilitation center. Previously, it was purchased in Taiwan, with high cost, unstable delivery time and no cost performance. The specific requirements are medical use,odorless,Reach regulation compliant, low VOC, California prop 65, CA117 flame retardant, waterproof , medical alcohol resistant.
Difficulty:In 2015, the anti-skid resin was not mature, no product could keep the anti-skid effect for a long time by wiping with alcohol disinfectant.
The anti-skid effect was not good enough.
Solution:Due to Taleather do a lot of environmental protection materials and automotive fabrics, we have good formula experience and production operation experience in Reach and low VOC. Flame retardant is also our technical strength. We choose imported mixed type antimony flame retardant to meet the flame resistance and environmental protection requirements. In the face of solving the problem of environmental protection and long-term anti-skid of fabrics, we jointly developed water-based anti-skid treatment agent with Stahl, a global fine chemical quality enterprise. Through continuous attempts of both parties, we finally developed the product, which not only solved the long-term anti-skid performance, but also meet the needs of environmental protection and low VOC.
Project 2: Development of Upholstery Woven Grain PVC Saddle Leather
Usage: Weaving chairs, desk, Hudson corner table, arts and crafts
Customer Requirement:
1. Enough hardness to support the shape.
2. There should be no crease in the folding position.
3. For better visual effects, the backing cloth should be looks like genuine leather.
Difficulty: The hardness of the product should be able to support independently, and the crease should be restored quickly. The deformation of the product should be minimized because the side and back of the material are exposed to the outside in many scenarios. The density of the product must be good and the foaming layer should be uniform. The color of the base cloth and the leather layer should always be the same. In addition, according to the customers are mostly used for cutting, hollowing, so the strength of PVC layer must be high to ensure that the tear strength reaches 40N.
Solution: o sum up the points above , we found Vinnolit Germany company and bought the high resilience resin from them. This resin ensure the good springback effect when using a small amount of Plasticizer.
In addition, when choosing the backing cloth, we use warp knitted long wool cloth. This type of fabric is not only has enough hardness to ensure that the product not only won’t deform but also can be dyed maximize the effect close to genuine leather. Combined with the high strength resin we choose, it can meet tear strength reaches over 40N.
During the operation of the production line, we strictly control the mixing time and mixing speed to achieve the best plasticization degree. This step is very important for it is related to the durability and quality of the product. The temperature and speed are strictly controlled to ensure the thickness, stability and uniformity of foaming layer.
Through this development experience, Taleather can provide the leather that meets different outdoor standards, such as QUV, fire retardant, environmental regulations, high physical performance,ect. Finally, we provide the woven grain PVC saddle leather materials to customers who make knitting chairs, frameless tables, frameless crafts.
